Shaun Williamson

Shaun Williamson is probably best known for playing the part of Barry Evans in over 700 episodes of the BBC1 soap opera ‘EastEnders’ from 1994-2004. After being pushed off of a cliff by the dastardly Janine, he went on to appear in ‘Extras’, ‘Life’s Too Short’ and ‘The Invention Of Lying’ for Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. He has appeared on stage in over thirty different stage productions, including ‘One Man Two Guvnors’ for the National Theatre and musicals such as ‘Saturday Night Fever’ and ‘Guys And Dolls’. He was the subject of ‘This Is Your Life’ in 2001.

Shaun’s other passion, though, is a live cabaret and he has performed his one-man show the length and breadth of the country, at holiday camps, festivals, hotels and cruises. This show includes stand-up comedy, personal anecdotes and a selection of songs ranging from swing and soul through to West End standards.
